The Defenders of Derthal series also has a wide range of mythical creatures from outside Chinese mythology based on fantasies and myths found in popular culture. These characters, creatures, and monsters are more widely recognized, so I do not go into background stories. I merely provide readers with conceptual artwork based on written descriptions from my series to help ignite the imagination.
